Life has been swell lately. Work is going great. I am working on a big WordPress project for a big client. If you don’t know what WordPress is, you should check it out. It is is like Blogger, but ten times more powerful. It is the engine behind this site and many others.

Lacrosse is going well too. The high school season ended in dramatic fashion, a double overtime loss to Skyline. It was a good season but we will be more prepared next year. I am coaching the 7th and 8th grade team now. Half are going to Highland and half are going to East. They are all pretty good kids. It is fun teaching them the basics.

I am really disappointed in Real Salt Lake right now, but I feel they are in a slump that will end eventually. You might be saying to yourself “They have never really been that good.” True, but the start of this season had more excitement than the others because of the amazing finish last year and the preseason hype this year. I felt like we should have been dominate like Chivas. If this was any other season, all the fans would be ecstatic that we have three wins but this year the expectations were way too high. I feel we will get back in the habit of playing good soccer and will be fine come October.

I am writing this from my porch. Nikki and I bought some chairs and a small table at Lowes the other night. It is so nice to sit outside and chill in the cool summer air. Also, as of today, Nikki and I have been married two years. What a great two years it has been. I hope the next two years are just as good and even better. Wuv you misses.
