I headed out to PodCampSLC last Friday and had a great time. It was a great conference, and I came away with some great ideas for an idea I’ve had for awhile now. It also helped with the Online PR Podcast. The main thing that I came away with is to be honest and yourself. Don’t try to be something you’re not just because you have your own podcast. I really enjoyed Clark Winegar. He talked about streaming live events and he really opened up my eyes to how easy it is to stream events. A lot of the presentations emphasized social media and how that is the way to get more listeners. It is so true but I feel that most of the people that go to these events know about social media so it is redundant to talk about these things.
