So my birthday is coming up and I need want a new phone. When it comes down to it, I really would love an iPhone, but I am not willing to have any other carrier for various reasons besides Verizon. So, do I wait until iPhone comes to Verizon – rumored to be this fall, or do I jump on the HTC Incredible in a few weeks?

iPhone OS 4.0 looks sweet, tons of apps, and the potential of Apple to create more awesome things for the iPhone is high.

I’ve heard it come to Verizon as early as September, but let’s be honest, it will probably be around December, if at all, and I would have to keep my BlackBerry until then…

Pros to get HTC Incredible
This phone looks awesome – The handset will sport a 1GHz CPU, Android 2.1 with Sense UI and a 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 480×800 resolution. It also gets an 8-megapixel camera, optical joystick and built-in GPS sensor. Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi will likewise be onboard. (via electronista) Android apps are becoming even more popular to make and easier to develop, with the potential for just as many apps as the iPhone.  Not to mention it has Google Voice which I am a huge fan of. I’ve also heard rumors that iPhone is going to start using Bing as it’s search which means the Incredible using Google’s search is awesome. I like Google and I think if I had to choose, I would choose them over Apple. My buddy ‘Q’ has the Nexus One and it does some pretty cool things, one of which is you can talk to texts – pretty slick, you have to see it in action.

It’s not an iPhone….
