Nikki and I went up and watched Stage 4 from the 2011 Tour of Utah. It was a grueling circuit that started at the Capitol building, went along the top side of the Avenues, came down 1300 East, looped around Presidents Circle, then down South Temple and up State Street to the Capitol again. They did that loop 11 times! It was nuts. Nikki and I started out by the Capitol to watch them suffer up State Street. It was quite the climb. Then we went and looked at all the vendors. It was too hot though so we left and went to a spot on South Temple in the shade. It was nice, there were only a few people around us and they were flying down. We got two team waterbottles thrown at us: Liquigas-Cannondale and Gobernacion de Antioquia. It was a great day. Team RadioShack stud, Levi Leipheimer, climbing State Street with the yellow jersey.
